The Journey of Daylight & Daisy

As someone with a background in advertising, I’ve always been drawn to the world of marketing—where creativity meets strategy, and ideas come to life in ways that can truly change businesses. But it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I had the opportunity to truly understand what it means to run a small business firsthand. During this challenging time, I found myself helping my husband with his business, and that’s where everything clicked.

Working alongside him, I saw the inner workings of a small business up close—the hard work, the passion, the obstacles, and the excitement. It was during this time that I also got a taste of what it was like to be my own boss. The independence, the decision-making, and the sense of ownership inspired me in ways I hadn’t expected. It was then that I realized I wanted to help other small creators, artists, and entrepreneurs—people like me who are driven by their craft but burdened by the pressures of marketing.

That realization sparked the creation of Daylight and Daisy. I knew I could leverage my marketing expertise to take the weight of marketing off the shoulders of these passionate individuals, allowing them to focus on what they do best—whether it’s creating art, building a brand, or offering unique services. The idea was simple: help small businesses grow and thrive through personalized, results-driven marketing.

I didn’t waste any time getting started. Armed with a desire to help and a belief in my ability to make a difference, I began cold emailing local businesses in Denver. It was a bit daunting at first, but to my surprise, a few responded and took a chance on me. Those initial opportunities gave me the platform I needed to grow my business and fine-tune my marketing skills. With each new client, I learned something new, and the business grew more than I ever imagined.

Today, Daylight and Daisy is not just a marketing business. It’s a place where small business owners can find a trusted partner who understands the challenges of entrepreneurship and knows how to craft marketing strategies that work. Whether you’re an artist looking to get your work seen or a small business owner ready to expand, I’m here to take that marketing pressure off so you can continue to do what you do best.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m excited to continue helping small businesses succeed, one step at a time.
